Subscription and billing
How the free trial, seats and payments work, how admins add a card or manage billing, and what happens when a subscription isn't active.
Jurnie has one self-serve plan, billed per seat. A seat is an active member of your organization. Payments go through Stripe, and only admins can manage them.
Price and trial
- Price: one plan with every feature, billed per seat, monthly or annually. Current prices are on jurnie.ai.
- Free trial: new organizations get 14 days with every feature. You don't need a card to start. Wherever this help center says active subscription, a trial counts.
- Enterprise: custom pricing for larger organizations with procurement or deployment requirements. Email support@jurnie.ai.
Add a payment method
Admins: Only admins can add a card or open billing. Members who see the payment banner should contact an admin.
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings and Organization.
- Under Billing management, click Add Payment Method.
- Enter your card and billing address on Stripe's checkout page. You can also add a tax ID there.

During the trial, adding a card doesn't charge you yet. Your subscription carries on when the trial ends, and admins get an email the day before. If the trial has already ended or the subscription was cancelled, checkout starts a paid subscription right away.
Manage billing
Once a card is on file, the button reads Manage Billing & Payment Methods. It opens Stripe's billing portal, where you manage your payment methods, billing details and subscription.
If your organization signed up with a promotion code, it's shown next to the button. Have a code to add? Email support@jurnie.ai.
Seats
You pay for active members only. Pending invitations and deactivated members aren't billed. When someone joins or is deactivated, the seat count updates on its own:
- On a monthly plan, the difference shows up on your next invoice.
- On an annual plan, the prorated difference is invoiced right away.
If your organization agreed a fixed number of seats with Jurnie, you pay for that number instead. See Invite and manage your team.
When the subscription isn't active
If the trial ends without a card, a payment fails, or the subscription is cancelled, Jurnie is restricted for everyone in your organization:
- An orange banner shows at the top. Admins click Continue to payment in it; members see Contact your admin.
- You can't capture or upload meetings or invite Jurnie to a meeting.
- Ask Jurnie (including the desktop panel), agents, templates, vocabulary, memory and pre-meeting briefs are hidden, and you can't refresh summaries or fix names.
- Your meetings stay, and you can still open them.
When the subscription ends, Jurnie also stops joining the upcoming meetings it was scheduled for. After you pay again, the restrictions lift on their own; each person should then check that Automatically join meetings is on. See Calendar meetings are missing.
