How Jurnie handles your data

Where your meetings are stored, who can see them, what is never done with them, and where to find the full legal details.

In short: your meeting content is stored in the EU, it's never used to train AI models, and by default a new meeting is private to the person who captured it until they share it.

Where your data is stored

Jurnie stores customer data in the EU, on Amazon Web Services in Ireland.

Jurnie processes your meeting content on your organization's behalf, as a data processor under the GDPR.

Not used to train AI

Your meetings are never used to train AI models.

How it's kept secure

  • Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
  • Inside Jurnie, access to meeting content is limited to a small number of named engineers, and that access is logged.

Who in your organization can see a meeting

  • By default, a new meeting is private to the person who captured it, and others see it only once it's shared: with them, with a teamspace they belong to, with the whole organization, or through a public link. See Share a meeting and Teamspaces.
  • If you've chosen a teamspace under Share meetings with a teamspace in your account settings, your new meetings are shared with it automatically once Jurnie has processed them.
  • Ask Jurnie, the MCP connector and API keys reach only the meetings you can open yourself.

Admins: To stop Jurnie building memory from your meetings, go to Settings → Organization, turn off the switch under Memory, click Save changes and confirm with Turn off memory. Jurnie stops adding to memory from new meetings and stops showing and using it for everyone. Turning memory off doesn't delete what Jurnie already remembers, so turning it back on restores it. To have memory deleted, for the whole organization or for one person, an admin can email support@jurnie.ai.

Telling people you're using Jurnie

The rules on capturing meetings differ between countries, and you're responsible for following the ones that apply to you and the people you meet. To tell people in advance, open the menu next to an upcoming meeting on Home and click Send consent notification to participants. Jurnie emails everyone invited who hasn't declined that you'll take notes with Jurnie. This works for calendar meetings with a meeting link.

Deleting data

Deleting a meeting removes it permanently. See Rename, delete or download a meeting and Close your account or delete your data. When your organization stops using Jurnie, its data is deleted as set out in the data processing agreement. To have it deleted sooner, an admin can email support@jurnie.ai.
